SNMP - Interface Statistics returning 0 items and rows

Post by gdinardo »

Hello,

I have been using Cacti for decades and this issue really has me scratching my head. I have 50+ Windows servers configured and polled successfully. The last 2 servers I deployed both having same issues, same image as working servers, same virtual NIC and OS. I even cloned a working server and still have the issue despite origin server polling successfully.

No interface statistics, no items and no rows. Same debug output I received from a working server. I am using the default template SNMP - Interface Statistics. All other templates are getting successful query responses. Tried updating SNMP community string, even updating it from RO to RW, no luck.

Data Query Debug Information
Total: 0.000000, Delta: 0.000000, Found data query XML file at '/var/www/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/interface.xml'
Total: 0.000000, Delta: 0.000000, Running Data Query [1].
Total: 0.000000, Delta: 0.000000, Found Type = '3' [SNMP Query].
Total: 0.000000, Delta: 0.000000, XML file parsed ok.
Total: 0.070000, Delta: 0.070000, Executing SNMP get for num of indexes @ '.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.1.0' Index Count: 24
Total: 2.100000, Delta: 2.030000, Executing SNMP walk for list of indexes @ '.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1' Index Count: 0
Total: 2.100000, Delta: 0.000000, No SNMP data returned

Manual snmp poll returns data
snmpbulkget -v2c -c xxx 67.69.27.x .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1
IF-MIB::ifIndex.1 = INTEGER: 1
IF-MIB::ifIndex.2 = INTEGER: 2
IF-MIB::ifIndex.3 = INTEGER: 3
IF-MIB::ifIndex.4 = INTEGER: 4
IF-MIB::ifIndex.5 = INTEGER: 5
IF-MIB::ifIndex.6 = INTEGER: 6
IF-MIB::ifIndex.7 = INTEGER: 7
IF-MIB::ifIndex.8 = INTEGER: 8
IF-MIB::ifIndex.9 = INTEGER: 9
IF-MIB::ifIndex.10 = INTEGER: 10

I ran a packet capture while running a verbose query and nothing out of the ordinary. Any ideas?
