Issue with Reapply Suggested Names

Post by Rno »

Hello,
I have some interface that dosen't have an alias on it.
So I create a title including the ifDesc of but it's look like when I apply the 'Reapply Suggested Names' it dosen't change anythingg at all.

How can I troubleshoot that ?

Here is my Data queries for it:

2024-01-17 12_49_18-Clipboard.png (39.75 KiB) Viewed 497 times
And the interface discovered on my device:

So what can I check, and why this function didn't give any output when it can change anything ?

Hello Rno! :D

Maybe you can try a few things to troubleshoot this issue.

First, make sure that you have the necessary permissions to change the interface name. If you do not have the required permissions, contact your network administrator. download lagu

Second, ensure that you have correctly entered the ifDesc in the title. If ifDesc is not entered correctly, Reapply Suggested Names may not change the interface name.

Third, try removing special characters such as forward slashes (/) from the title. According to , Cacti does not like special characters in the title.

Finally, you can try running the

Code: Select all

poller_graphs_reapply_names.php
script with the

Code: Select all

-d
option to display debug messages. This script can help you find issues with Reapply Suggested Names.

I hope this helps you Rno! :D
