URL: "Link to Graph in Cacti" in alert email is plain-text instead of hyperlink

I'm setting up a test VM with latest Cacti/Thold, in order to switch-off the old production server running Cacti version 0.8.8b
The VM is running Cacti 1.2.11 and develop-branch thold plugin cloned from github,

Thold can send emails but the string "Link to Graph in Cacti" is plain-text instead of being an hyperlink:

This is not happening on the emails from the old production server:

Base URL on the new VM is set to "https://hostname/cacti/", where hostname is a fqdn; anyway, I tried with http instead of https, and the plain ip address instead of the hostname, but no luck.
The threshold has been imported from the old release database, anyway it also happens with with a brand new threshold. I don't think it's a bug as it seems I'm the only to experience this, but I cannot figure it out, where am I wrong?

There is a setting to control that. Look for it.

I unchecked "Send Alerts as Text" and it is now working as expected. Thank you very much!
