*WINNER* Brandi's Grunge-Inspired Recipe Challenge

Post by QueenBee89 »

We have a winner! Wheel of Names has selected 9. debraruffing! - Congratulations!
--------------
Hello, hello! If you were following along with the hints all week, you've probably been waiting for the challenge tied to the Grunge-y Moodboard! Here is my Grunge-Inspired Recipe challenge! It's going to be a Grab 5 (or more) and create your layout! You layout DOES NOT have to be grunge in appearance, if you can make it work with five of these elements without having a grunge-effect, have at it! Here's the list:

1. Gears
2. Texture Paste/Thick Medium
3. Splatters
4. Hexagons
5. Metal Embellishment
6. "Texture" Patterned Paper (i.e. metals, bricks, chipped paint, woodgrain, denim etc.)
7.  Flannel/Plaid Elements
8. Color Scheme of "Grunge" (lots of black, grey, dark blues & dark eds)
9. Ripped Paper/Distressed Edges
10. Fibers/Burlap/Twine

FAST SCRAP OPTIONS: Cherries awarded to the first three projects submitted!

For my sample, I was able to use six of the elements on my layout. I used splatters, texture pattern paper, flannel/plaid, a grungy color scheme, distressing & some fibers.

The Fine Print:
1. Open to Layouts, Both Traditional & Digital, and Cards
2. Must be a NEW project.
3. Cannot be combined with any other challenge on the boards, with exceptions for the 25 Item NSD challenge and the May/June Bi Monthly Prompt Challenge.
4. All entries must be uploaded into this thread by 11:59 PM EDT on Friday May 17th.
5. ONE Entry per Cherry
6. A winner will be selected per random.org

The prize for this challenge is this fun bundle generously provided by our sponsor Lawn Fawn!

If you use more than one, yes. You could count one for metal & one for gears. But one metal gear cannot count for two elements.

Yay! I love that it's inspiring you! I tried to keep things "my style" but not so boxed in that it doesn't appeal to everyone!  :greenlol:

Yes, cards are accepted for this one! just be sure to point out your 5 elements if they're harder to spot on a card!
