Impossible But True

Impossible But True is a show about how a small town in the Catskill Mountains in New York lives through the American Revolution.  It is loosely based on Washington Irving's "Rip Van Winkle."  But this is a story about people coming together and discovering that what is possible can change once you begin.  Seen through the eyes of Rip, who leaves town in 1775 to join the revolution and does not return until 20 years later, this tale fills the tavern with love, laughter, tragedy and hope.

As with all our shows, the audience becomes part of the story's tavern community.  You can drink, eat and are encouraged to participate in small ways throughout the play.
