Sandburn Hall is situated 8 miles north east of York, easily accessed just off the A64 between York & Malton. Located in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside in a 1000 acre estate surrounded by woodland and lakes. The perfect base from which to explore City, Coast & Country!
Free parking is available at the hotel. A convenient Park and Ride service operates from Monks Cross into York City Centre.

Your four-legged friend is more than welcome to join you on your break at Sandburn Hall! We have a number of dog-friendly Lake Rooms, each with their own private terrace leading straight into our grounds – perfect for walkies. We will also provide a cosy bed, snuggly blanket and some delicious doggy treats to pamper your pooch. We love staying at Sandburn Hall, it’s so relaxing and the staff are amazing.
The surroundings are so beautiful and tranquil and the rooms are lovely,with big spacious beds and comfy quilts and pillows.
The views from the patio windows are amazing lots of wildlife to see, ponds and just lots of open space, bliss.
