Scrap a Day, June 8th

Hey Cherries. This afternoon I am going to a dance recital that my two little great nieces are going to be in. One of them is JJ’s age (6 1/2) and the other is 3 1/2. I bought them each a Teddy that is dressed as a ballerina that holds a flower, and I got crafty yesterday and worked on making them t...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 7th

Beautiful day here today.  Never really cooled much last night and the high is 81 today.  DH is out doing some errands while I clean a bit here at home.  We went to the casino for a couple of hours yesterday and had a good time as always.  It's a fun break for the every day.  I have 3 projects that...

So glad Twinks continues to do well!! No plans..no appts..I say go on and get your scrap on!    Lol I should. May run to Home Depot first. Looking to get some Citronella Geranium plants like the ones I got last year. They were amazing at keeping the mosquitoes out of the yard. I had three of them a...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 7th

It is so gorgeous here this morning!  Cooled off nicely, low humidity and sunshine!  High expected about 74 degrees, aka perfect! :)  I spent a couple hours of plant therapy, weeding my flower beds and didn't even break a sweat!  Now, I am going to pamper my back, which doesn't like weeding, in our...

Hey Cherries 😊 I've been doing arts and crafts, and feeling pretty good about it! 😊 The weather is nice again today, and I'll spend some time outside today, too! I'm re-working a painting that I hadn't worked on since 2018! Its a bit of a long tale, but It feels good to scrape away and re-cover the...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 7th

Hello Cherries!!! 🍒🍒🍒 I can’t believe we’ve already been here 5 days! The weather is fabulous. It’s windy but warm. I have slept and slept and slept! Steve thinks it’s because I’m finally starting to relax. I slept more than I was awake yesterday! Feeling better today. Seems I can’t drink the water...

Re: Good Thoughts and Prayers

She’s going to need a double FHO, both hips are out of socket. We’ve stated pain meds and they are forwarding her X-rays to an orthopedic surgeon to review.  As sad as it is, its a relief….had her knees been affected as well, they would not be able to do surgery.  Oh poor sweet baby. Thank God for ...

Re: Twinkie's Vet Visit

Super news, Barb!  Glad that everything looked okay at her visit and the stitches are out too.  Maybe she was just having an off day! Thanks Vicki. I hope so. Labs just don't not eat for no reason. They never skip a meal. So it is worrisome when they do. I do hope it was just a passing thing maybe ...

Re: Twinkie's Vet Visit

That is WONDERFUL news Barb!!! Give that sweet baby hugs and kisses from me! And like you..and Laura...unfortunetly, I know when something isn't right with one of my babies. And the constant reminder when they get older. Flashbacks of anxiety over previous furbabies. I know they are each different,...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 6th

Today started out humid and warm (for 10 am), and now it is lovely!  Humidity has dropped way down and a nice breeze, high 70’s.  My kind of deck sitting weather!  lol. I spent part of the morning trying to figure out Adobe Elements as a digi scrapping program. NOT a fan…it took me hours for this s...
