Tutorial 1 dodge or burn

Hi,
My only question from tutorial 1 is that I don't have a dodge or burn tool. I am using PSE 9 so maybe that is why. Hopefully it won't matter?

My PSE8 doesn't have them, either. But that's OK with me for now. As I progress with digi, I'll probably want to update programs if I get hooked....and I think I will.

I had them in PSE6 and I have them in PSE10. I promise you they're there. There are three tools together, dodge which looks kinda like a baby's rattle, burn which looks like a hand, and sponge which looks like a sponge! They are situated just above the color blocks containing your foreground and background colors. If you see any one of these three symbols, the other two are behind it. There would have been a riot in digi designer land if they had been eliminated from intervening versions of PSE and there was no riot........
