What a great challenge, Chris!  Took me a while to get this one done!

Image

My menu:
Beverage: Wine (mixed media). I used the new Oxide Inks to distress and color my photo tag mats, and the wood stars.
Appetizer: Chicken Wings (squares)---4 corners
Main Course: Shrimp and Scallops ( Two cardstock backgrounds) This was my Twist #1. You know I can't use two plain old cardstocks for bases. I switched to Spaghetti and Meatballs (one of my LEAST fave foods) so I could have a patterned paper background!
Side Dish: Roasted Veggies (Stars)
Salad: Tossed (something green)
Twist 2: Dessert: Fruit--- fave embellishment, which for me is die cut titles
I am running away from my responsibilities,
and it feels good!

Kathy

You rocked using only cardstock, Debbie.  So many Cherries exchanged that menu item since they struggle with only cardstock.

Hi finally got my layout for this challenge completed.

My menu was - Wine, which I promptly changed to water( I detest mixed media, but love mists)
                        Mushrooms- diamonds
Steak- cardstock BG- which I used
Roasted veggies- stars- I used some star paper and one star diecut
Caesar salad- something brown- which was my cardstock BG
Dessert- Not sure I really have a favourite something, but I do like the new puffy stickers, which I used.

water - misting or splatters = I used Heidi Swap spray to color the cupcake background
I swapped Cheese & Crackers (triangles) for Fried Calamari (Circles) as Twist #1
Rib eye steak - cardstock background
Roasted Veggies - Stars
Cobb Salad - my YELLOW is stickles
Ice Cream - STITCHING (you had to see that coming LOL!)

Also in honor of my paper pad challenge...with this card I used up the LAST two pages of my Dots & Stripes pad from 2011. I have never seen a fully used up paper pad before LOL!
