Eligibility Criteria

• This prestigious scholarship is open to Master’s and doctoral candidates pursuing degrees in vital engineering disciplines such as Computer Science, Mining Industrial, Metallurgical, Civil, and Traffic and Transportation Engineering. • Age and Academic Requirements: Applicants must be non-Chinese graduates, under 35 for Master’s and under 40 for Doctoral studies, showcasing excellent academic performance and good health.
• Language Proficiency: Required HSK level 4 score of 260 for Chinese-taught programs; a minimum of 6 in IELTS or 85 in TOEFL for English-taught programs. Exemptions apply for native speakers or those with prior degrees in these languages.
• Financial Independence: Applicants should not have received significant funding from other sources.

Application Steps

1. CSU System: Begin your application journey by registering at the Central South University (CSU) international student system (CSU Application Portal). Select the Chinese Government Scholarship option, complete your application, and submit.
2. CSC System: Further apply through the CSC Online Application System (CSC Portal), using the agency number 10533 for Central South University. Please note, document submission is managed only through CSU.
