WHAT IS JUST APPROVED™?
JUST APPROVED™ is a series of guides to help you discover the best fashion companies and brands to shop.
The guides are organized by apparel categories like denim, athleisure or work and are released monthly. The JUST team and our expert committee work to extensively research and publish each brand and then pick the best based on the brand’s style, ethics and sustainability. The guides are designed to help shoppers sift through all the information out there, understand key decision points, and easily and quickly know which brands to shop.

WHY IS IT USEFUL?
We know that shoppers (including ourselves!) need help navigating all the choices available and issues that exist to make the best purchasing decision. We want to know – quickly – where to shop smarter, and where to find products that fall in line with our values. Our guides help you navigate through these questions and offer JUST’s top picks for the best in style, fit, and positive impact.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
CONTEXT :
We research and assess the main issues and innovations in the selected category. We choose categories based on user requests – have one that you want us to cover? Submit here!
SCAN :
We look across the industry at all the brands, do a first round of assessment and then narrow it down to a focused list to research and test.
RESEARCH :
From this group, we look at each brand’s performance across our eight categories. We also look at the production factors specific to that category. We read everything we can find from the brand and from the public domain and we even invite brands and our community to submit additional information. Then with the input of two JUST team members and three industry insiders from our expert committee, we choose our list.
FOLLOW-UP :
We decide which questions require more information to be properly answered and follow-up on that.
ANNOUNCE :
Then finally we provide you with our review and we announce our list of the brands and products we love.
